The first text message was sent 30 years ago today.

THE FIRST TEXT message was sent by engineer Neil Papworth on 3 December 1992, 30 years ago today, and read simply “Merry Christmas”.

Despite a wide range of other communications platforms now being available, including apps such as WhatsApp, and a range of social media platforms, SMS text messages still play a big role in the daily lives of many.

So, today we want to know… Do you still send SMS text messages?
