Poll: Would you use a driverless car?

Some experts say they would be safer, but there are concerns about the impact on jobs.

THE EUROPEAN UNION has committed support for the introduction of driverless cars.

It has been argued that these cars would be safer as they eliminate driver error.

Labour representative Eric Nolan, however, writing for TheJournal.ie, claims we will regret a move in this direction as these technological advances threaten jobs.
