Poll: Should drivers be made keep a first aid kit in their cars?

The RSA thinks it would be a positive move for road safety, and will be making recommendations to the Transport Minister.

SHOULD IRISH DRIVERS be required to keep an emergency breakdown pack in their cars?

It’s proposed that they should – and the Road Safety Authority is looking for people’s views on the issue. Ads have been placed in national papers today as a public consultation gets under way and recommendations will be made to the Transport Minister later this year.

The pack would include a first-aid kit, a high-vis vest, breakdown triangle and a torch.

What do you think?
