Poll: Will you vote for Fianna Fáil in the next general election?

Senator Averil Power’s departure has led to questions about the party.

WHAT SHOULD HAVE been a good week for Fianna Fáil, after its first by-election win almost 20 years, has now descended into a public slanging match.

It comes as Seantor Averil Power left the party and launched a blistering attack on the leadership on her way out.

The bad publicity is a blow to the party as it attempts to build up to a general election following its disastrous nationwide performance in 2011.

The party will point to a strong showing in last year’s local elections, where it became the largest party, as evidence that it’s ready to govern once more. But do you agree?

Today’s poll, Will you vote for Fianna Fáil in the next general election?

Poll Results:

No. (14143)
Yes. (3452)
I will consider it. (1806)
I don't know. (687)
