ONE OF THE proposals potentially on the cards for Budget 2025 is the expansion of free public transport to all children under age nine.

The Green Party tabled the measure, which would increase the age for free public transport from five to nine.

So today, we’re asking: Up to what age should children be entitled to free tickets for public transport?
