Poll: Will you vote in the upcoming general election?

You can check if your name is on the register at checktheregister.ie.

TURNOUT WAS HIGH at the last general election in 2011, reaching almost exactly 70%.

But worry not if you still need to register for this one, because you can apply to be included in the supplement list up to 15 working days before the yet-to-be-confirmed polling day.

That’s the message from a notice over 2.5 million Facebook users will see popping up in their newsfeeds today, reminding them to check they are registered.

This morning’s poll: Will you be voting?

Poll Results:

Yes (12802)
No (1085)
Undecided/not eligible (810)
