Poll: Has storm coverage gone overboard?

Over a million people watched live coverage of the storms during the week. Is that a bit much?

YESTERDAY, TV3 revealed that over a million people watched their live two-hour special on Ireland’s storms.

Today, Sky News has not covered any news in a significant way other than storm damage.

Is it all a bit too much? Or are we, as Irish people, drawn to discussions about the weather like moths to a flame?
