Poll: How much housework do you do?

Are you a Monica, or a Vicki Pollard?

A SURVEY BY the OECD which looked at how people in 26 countries spend their time has found that Irish do less housework than every other nation, except the Koreans.

We spend an average of just an hour and a half a day on housework – compared to the Mexicans, who do an impressive three hours, on top of ten hours’ paid work.

So are you mop-shy, or hoover-happy? How much housework do you do every day?

(Note: time spent childminding and cooking is not included in the housework figure.)

Poll Results:

Mop-shy:  less than 1 hr (533)
Average - about 90 mins (223)
What's a hoover? (136)
Hoover-happy: over 2 hrs (87)
