Poll: How will you be celebrating your Irishness tomorrow?

Tomorrow’s St Patrick’s Day – the one day of the year when you get to remember how it feels to be proud to be Irish. So let us know how you think we should be celebrating it.

THIS IS THE one week of the year when everyone gets a chance to celebrate their Irishness – and whether or not you’re actually Irish is, of course, irrelevant.

So will you be doing something predictable this St Patrick’s Day – like going to the pub or the parade? Something more soul-enhancing or sole-destroying, like climbing Croagh Patrick?

Or do you fancy doing something a bit more contemporary – like touring Ireland’s ghost estates, or holding public readings of The Fitzpatrick Tapes?

Which of the following options sounds like the best way to spend Saint Patrick’s Day (and if you’ve got a better idea, let us know in the comments below – a sod of shamrock to the best suggestion):

Poll Results:

Pub (125)
Parade (123)
Red lemonade, Taytos and Father Ted boxsets (105)
All of the above (67)
Touring Ireland's ghost estates (44)
Stew and Irish coffees (42)
Dressing entirely in green and wearing a sod of shamrock (19)
Climbing Croagh Patrick (13)
Céilí (12)
