Poll: Should Ireland give more to the Philippines?

The country has already sent aid worth €1.5 million to the island…but is it enough?

AS RESIDENTS IN the Philippines appeal for help in the form of food, water and shelter, Ireland has pledged about €1.5 million worth of support.

This includes tents, taupaulins, blankets and other emergency supplies.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny defended the amount, stating that Ireland could only make “a small gesture”. What do you think?
