Seán O’Rourke will take over Pat Kenny’s mid-morning current affairs show.

RTÉ HAS ANNOUNCED that News at One and This Week in Politics presenter Seán O’Rourke will take over for Pat Kenny this September.

The changes at Montrose come following Kenny’s shock announcement that he was leaving the state broadcaster after 41 years to join Newstalk.

Both presenters will have current affair shows beginning at 10am daily, one broadcasting on RTÉ the other on Newstalk, but which one will you be listening to?
