Poll: Will you watch Conor McGregor's next fight?

He’s the ‘interim’ featherweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship after defeating Chad Mendes last night in Las Vegas.

ULTRA-CONFIDENT DUBLIN UFC fighter Conor McGregor is now officially a champion, even if it is only an ‘interim’ belt.

The brash 26-year-old Dubliner defeated American Chad Mendes with seconds remaining of the second round in their much-hyped bout at UFC 189 in Las Vegas last night.

McGregor will now surely fight reigning featherweight champion Jose Aldo of Brazil in the near future, after which he may finally have the recognition that his bravado craves.

He’s doing wonders for the profile of his sport, one of the reasons he has gotten his title shot so quickly, but are you sitting up and taking notice?

We want to know: Will you watch Conor McGregor’s next fight?
