Poll: Does Ireland need a new political party?

Deputy Shane Ross says that the time is right. What do you think?

INDEPENDENT TD SHANE Ross believes that the ‘time is right’ for a new political party in Ireland.

A RedC poll yesterday showed that he was favourite to lead a new party.

Ross is in talks with independent TDs and also independent councillors to gauge interest in forming a new party, and yesterday he said the ‘appetite is there’.

Another poll showed that Independent TDs and smaller parties were the most popular group among the voters surveyed.

What do you think: Does Ireland need a new political party?

Poll Results:

Yes (9371)
No (2104)
I don't know (448)
