The Apple launch from earlier this week. Marcio Jose Sanchez

Poll: Would the recent Apple news put you off buying their products?

What do you think?

APPLE HAS BEEN in the news over two separate issues in the past week.

The first was over the European Commission’s ruling that Apple owed the Irish government €13 billion in tax, which the government voted to appeal this week.

The second was about the launch of their new smartphone and the introduction of wireless earbuds – which some are saying heralds the end of the earphone jack and the auxiliary cable.

So we’re asking, Would Apple’s recent news affect your decision to use or buy their products?

Poll Results:

No. I don't care about either  (8437)
Yes, because of the headphone jack (2817)
Yes, because of both (2364)
Yes, because of the tax (1708)
