How Ireland carries out a referendum is being discussed by the Citizens’ Assembly this weekend.

SHOULD POLLING STATIONS for future referenda be held at non-religious venues?

The Citizens’ Assembly is meeting this weekend to discuss the manner in which referenda are held and among the submissions made are Atheist Ireland’s suggestion  that bibles should be removed from polling stations and voting should be held at non-religious venues.
