Poll: Would you feel safe in an Irish hospital right now?

The number of patients waiting on trolleys hit a record high yesterday.

OVER 600 PEOPLE are on trolleys in hospitals across Ireland this morning waiting for a hospital bed.

It’s the highest number ever recorded since records began in 2004.

The record high was hit yesterday and the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) says the figures are roughly the same for today.

Yesterday a HSE manager was asked eight times whether hospitals are safe on Morning Ireland. Presenter Cathal MacCoille finally concluded, “You can’t say they’re safe.”

So today we’re asking, Would you feel safe in an Irish hospital right now?

Poll Results:

No (4496)
Yes (1183)
I don't know (422)
