Poll: Should private businesses have access to heritage sites?

The Minister for the OPW thinks it is a good idea, but what do you think?

THE MINISTER OF State for the Office of Public Works today outlined plans to hand out leases for the operation of commercial ventures at heritage sites across Ireland.

Brian Hayes says that the scheme will increase money available for the OPW and will all reflect the sensibilities of the sites.

He added that it wouldn’t mean “a casino for Skellig Michael”.

But should Irish heritage sites have commercial enterprises on their grounds?

We’re asking: Should private businesses have access to heritage sites?

Poll Results:

No (2169)
I don't know (1343)
