Will he stay or will he go? Laura Hutton/Photocall Ireland

Poll: Should Éamon Ó Cuív leave Fianna Fáil?

Will he stay or will he go?

FIANNA FÁIL TD Éamon Ó Cuív is expected to make a statement later today about his future in the party.

The former deputy leader has had a number of high profile disputes with current party leader Micheál Martin over policies with which he disagrees. The Galway West TD has openly called for a No vote in the upcoming referendum, in defiance of the party whip.

Ó Cuív may choose to leave the party for which he has been a TD for 20 years over the disagreements over policy; or he may choose to stay on and agree to follow the party line on issues, whether he agrees with them or not.

So the question: Do you think Éamon Ó Cuív should leave Fianna Fáil?

Poll Results:

Yes (1091)
I don't care (999)
No (358)
