Poll: Should there be a women-only debate?

What do you think of the proposal by the Green’s Mary White that there should be a separate debate for the main female representatives of the political parties?

THE GREEN PARTY TD Mary White has called for television stations to hold women-only debates in the run-up to the election.

White is proposing that debates should be held between the leading female representatives of all the political parties.

One in two voters in the elections will be women yet viewers will see hardly any female candidates on their TV screens during this campaign. All of the party leaders are men and therefore multiple debates with them are only going to make the problem worse.

What do you think of her proposal?
