Poll: Would you be a stay-at-home parent if money was no object?

If money were no issue, would you prefer to spend all your time with your child?

THIS MORNING, A poll in the Irish Daily Mail suggests that 63% of Irish mothers would stay at home to raise their children if money was not an issue.

At present, childcare subsidies for stay-at-home mothers and fathers do not match those afforded to families where one or both parents work.

But do such attitudes apply across the board in Ireland to both those who have and those who are yet to have children?

We’re asking: Would you rather be a stay-at-home parent if money was no object?

Poll Results:

Yes (8572)
No (2281)
Don't know / Not sure (1061)
