Poll: Is the summer break for TDs too long?

They’ll be back in the Dáil on 27 September – should their holidays be shorter?

TDS BREAK TODAY for their summer holidays and will not be back in the Dáil now until 27 September.

There had been speculation a couple of months ago that the Dáil would finish up for the summer earlier than planned, which caused a backlash from some TDs as it would have left the Dáil out of session for three full months.

As it stands, politicians will have just over two months to unwind before it is back to business.

So, we want to know: Is the summer break for TDs too long?

Poll Results:

Yes (18057)
No (1387)
I'm not sure (321)
