Poll: Will you be watching the World Cup?

Messi, Ronaldo and… Jordan Henderson will be taking to the pitch bidding to win the top prize, but will you be tuning in?

TODAY’S THE DAY as the 2018 World Cup kicks off.

The first game – Russia vs Saudi Arabia – may not get the pulse racing but there will be 63 more games over the next four weeks to keep football fans entertained.

Of course, our 5-1 drubbing by Denmark seven months ago today means that Ireland won’t be taking to the field, but fans are expected to still expected to tune in in their droves right up to the final on 15 July (where Brazil will beat Germany on penalties, right?).

So, for the day that’s in it, we’re asking you: Will you be watching the World Cup?

Poll Results:

I'll watch the odd one (4483)
All/Most matches (3788)
Not at all (2630)
Would've if Ireland were there (824)
