TAOISEACH BRIAN COWEN appears to have warded off yet another threatened heave, after he came out fighting last night and insisted he would lead the Fianna Fáil party into the next election.

Whether you support Fianna Fáil or not, do  you think it would do better in the upcoming election under a new leader? Or would a heave now only damage the party further?
