A POST-MORTEM is due to be carried out today on the body of a woman discovered in Dublin yesterday.
Gardaí searching for a missing woman discovered the remains at around 2pm in an area of undergrowth in the Coolmine woods area of Blanchardstown, west Dublin.

She has yet to be identified.
Gardaí had been conducting searches for Linda Christian, a 29-year-old woman who went missing three weeks ago.

@Dave Ryan: from the article above, they were using sodium hypochlorite, a heavily regulated industrial chemical, that has strict rules on it in ireland as to its use and release into the environment or waterways.

There were otters and seatrout , place/flounder in that bay in the 60′s 70′s … it is devoid of life now other than winter swimmers. The source of the contamination must be found ..this is a brooklet …not a river ..it is not that hard @Pat Fitzgerald
