A POST-MORTEM WILL be carried out today on a 74-year-old woman who died after being hit by her own car in Clare yesterday.

The woman was loading shopping into her car outside a supermarket in Ennis on Sunday afternoon when the vehicle rolled backwards, hitting her.

The post-mortem will take place later today at Limerick Regional Hospital.
