Poll: Would you support the building of prefab homes for the homeless in your area?

It’s a new plan being considered by a number of councils in Dublin.

FOUR DUBLIN COUNCILS have displayed a number prefabricated houses that they believe could help ease the homeless crisis.

Cathal Morgan of the Dublin Region Homeless Executive says the modular homes are better and more cost effective than putting families in hotels where they are “stuck in a single hotel room”.

But finding suitable locations for the homes and making sure residents can move on eventually are potential problems.

Another challenge is said to be making sure communities are on board with the development.

Today’s poll, Would you support the building of prefab homes for the homeless in your area?
