Priest granted bail

AN 82-YEAR-OLD priest accused of sexually assaulting a boy in 1968 has been granted bail by a Galway court, RTÉ reports. The priest is charged with assaulting the then-15-year-old boy at separate locations. Gardaí said a book of evidence is being prepared, and the judge ordered the priest to surrender his passport.
