Landlords could face NCT-style checks on rental properties

The government is considering setting up a national inspection unit to ensure that rental properties are up to the proper standards. Housing charity Threshold, told TheJournal.ie that ‘standards and repairs’ is currently the single biggest issue that people contact them with.

Government not prepared to accept Moore Street’s status as a historic site
