The most expensive cities in the world to rent in have been revealed

The cost of renting a property in some of the biggest cities in the world has been laid bare in the 2017 Rental Affordability Index, with San Francisco claiming the top spot, and Dublin coming in at the 23rd most expensive city in the world to rent property.

Dublin is getting a new tenement museum this summer

No 14 Henrietta Street is due to officially open this summer as a museum charting tenement life in Dublin. The old four-storey Georgian building has a long and interesting history, and conservationists hope it will be the ideal location for an interactive museum experience charting Dublin’s past.

Homelessness in Ireland has reached an all-time high

The number homeless families and children staying in emergency accommodation declined last month, but the number of people in total shot up to record highs. Figures for January show that there were a total of 7,167 homeless adults and children in emergency accommodation across Ireland in January.
