Here's the average price of a home in Phibsboro in 2017

According to the latest figures from Daft.ie.

THE AVERAGE ASKING price of a home in Phibsboro is now just short of €400,000, according to the latest figures.

A Daft.ie analysis of properties in the third quarter of 2017 puts the average list price at €396,186.

This suggests that property values in the area have more than doubled since the recession. Since reaching their lowest level of €195,900 in 2012, prices have increased by 102.2%.

This is one of the fastest increases anywhere in the city. Only a handful of neighbourhoods – including neighbouring Cabra, Smithfield and the North Circular Road – have seen prices rise more quickly.

However, they still have a way to go before reaching their Celtic Tiger peak. Prices hit an even more eye-watering €548,000 in 2006.

Currently the average property asking price across Dublin city and county is €395,000.
