EVERYONE’S FAVOURITE OGRE is returning to the big screen.
Dreamworks this week announced that Shrek 5 is currently in production and will be released on 1 July 2026.
The fifth film in the franchise will see Mike Myers return to voice the title character, with Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy also on board to reprise their roles as Princess Fiona and Donkey.
The original Shrek film came out 23 years ago, and it’s success meant that three other movies followed.
