Ray D'Arcy's planning to have a vasectomy live on radio

The broadcaster said he suggested getting ‘the snip’ on air “in a moment of stupidity”. But now he might go for it…

BROADCASTER RAY D’ARCY says he’s thinking about having the snip … live on air.

He made the comments after speaking to Dr John O’Keeffe of the Morehampton Clinic about the procedure during his show yesterday.

“I said in a moment of stupidity really that I might get it done live on air,” D’Arcy told the doctor.

“I’ve had two children and at this stage. We have discussed this, myself and my wife – we’re not going to have any more children.”

The doctor said he’d be happy to carry out the procedure for Ray, but advised the presenter to think it over.

The Ray D’Arcy Show’s back on air from 9am — so the broadcaster may well have more news on the subject.

Let’s hope they turn the webcam off for that particular feature, if and when it goes ahead.
