Recruitment company to create 50 new jobs in Dublin, Galway and Cork

Sigmar Recruitment is to hire 50 recruitment consultants.

RECRUITMENT COMPANY SIGMAR has said it is creating 50 new jobs over the coming 18 months.

The recruitment consultant jobs will be in the company’s offices in Dublin, Galway and Cork.

CEO Adrain McGennis said the new jobs were a positive sign for both the recruitment industry and for business in Ireland in general, as the new hires will be involved in placing jobs with other companies.

Sigmar Recruitment underwent a management buyout in 2009.

McGennis said the highest demand for jobs currently is in IT, financial services and life sciences.

“The current demand for consultants highlights that there are very positive aspects of the Irish economy, although there is still a big national challenge in reducing long term employment,” he said.
