Poll: Would you recycle items to get a 10-cent refund?

The proposal is being debated before the Dáil tonight at 8.30pm.

DO YOU THINK a 10-cent refund is a good incentive for people to recycle more plastic bottles, glass bottles and cans?

This is a proposal by the Green Party and co-sponsored by the Labour Party, which would aim to reduce waste in Ireland. The government estimates that the proposal would cost around €120 million to roll out.

But would it work? We’re asking you: Would you recycle items for a 10-cent refund?

Poll Results:

Yes, I already recycle (8610)
Yes, I don't recycle much (817)
No (450)
I don't know (112)
