Overturned truck causing traffic chaos on the M50

No one was injured in the incident.

A SLIP ROAD on to the M50 is closed and won’t reopen for a number of hours this morning after a truck overturned, causing a fluid spill.

The incident happened on the slip road from the Naas Road outbound onto the M50 northbound.

Emergency services are attending the scene and motorists are being diverted from the area.

Those intending to get on the M50 northbound coming from the city are asked to get on the M50 southbound to the Ballymount exit and then back onto the M50 northbound.

Gardaí have confirmed that a crane will be needed to remove the truck.

No one was injured in the incident.
