Luas red line reopens after person injured in incident near Heuston Station

THE LUAS RED line has reopened following an earlier incident near Heuston Station.

It is understood a man was injured and was removed from underneath a Luas tram.

He has been transferred to hospital by ambulance with injuries to the chest area.

The incident occurred on Steeven’s Lane, which runs between the Heuston Station and St James’s Luas stops.

There is currently no service between Blackhorse and the Point.

Emergency services were at the scene, including two fire trucks, two Dublin Fire Brigade ambulances, and gardaí.
