The bold strategy includes 5 new electric and plug-in hybrid models.
SEAT is powering into the future with gusto thanks to a bold strategy from next year to 2021, which will include 5 electric and plug-in hybrid models. The el-Born will be the brand’s first fully electric model available in Ireland, while the new generation Leon and the Tarraco will feature a plug-in hybrid version. Furthermore, the CUPRA Leon and the CUPRA Formentor will also have a plug-in hybrid variant.
The el Born will have a range of up to 420km on the WLTP official test cycle and the ability to reach 100km/h in just 7.5 seconds. Add to this its ability to recharge the battery in as little as 47 minutes, and it starts to shift perceptions of electrification.
With 20” wheels, sleek aerodynamic lines on the outside, the most advanced technology and a power output of up to 150kW (204PS) the SEAT el-Born is a concept car that encapsulates the future of driving.
