Jigsaw is Lidl’s charity partner for the next three years. Through this partnership we have made a commitment of €1 million to support Jigsaw’s vision of a healthier, better Ireland. We have also made a commitment to you, our customer. We support Jigsaw and Jigsaw supports us all by helping to find ways to really listen to young people about their mental health.

One Good Adult
Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health , aims to create an Ireland where every young person’s mental health is valued and supported. Day in, day out they provide early intervention mental health support to young people aged 12-25. But they also believe that you have a central role to play. That role is being One Good Adult – a trusted voice, a friendly face, a listening ear. Anyone can be One Good Adult – Mother. Father. Uncle. Big sister. Big brother. Coach. Teacher. Friend’s parent. Anyone. But who it definitely can be, is YOU.
One Good School
All our fundraising is supporting Jigsaw’s secondary school programme, One Good School. In over 80 secondary schools up and down the country, Jigsaw are launching the One Good School™, a completely new and comprehensive approach aimed at supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people by developing a shared responsibility for mental health across the whole school community.
One Good Club
Together with Jigsaw, Lidl collaborated with our sponsorship partners, the Ladies Gaelic Football Association to develop One Good Club™. This is a new initiative offering clubs nationwide the opportunity to support all members to engage in activities that can positively promote mental health and wellbeing. A pilot project was completed this year and will be launched nationwide in the coming months.
We’ve raised over €500,000
Driving our partnership through local fundraising, regional initiatives and participation, our employees have coordinated multiple local and national fundraisers, including Superhero Saturday, Lidl’s Got Talent, Jump for Jigsaw (an exciting skydive), The Bakery (a pop-up café that moved around four locations in Ireland offering a space for people to talk and enjoy a break from life), and The Pumpkin Patch (a family fun event in aid of Jigsaw at Halloween) and Twisted for Jigsaw (a family fun day out at the Ballyhass Adventure centre in Cork). This collaborative approach has raised over €500,000 to date, while also creating stronger awareness for Jigsaw and the OneGoodAdult campaign.
Lidl is the official charity partner for Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health. Be the #OneGoodAdult in a young person’s life.
