We’ll get you back in the game.
Injured? Time is of the essence, so why wait in a busy A&E?
Former international rugby player and Affidea executive David Corkery knows better than anyone that the first 12 hours after an acute injury are critical in getting you back in the game.
Rather than waiting “six or seven hours to have a broken finger reset” at A&E, David recommends Affidea ExpressCare, where patients are seen in one to two hours.
And your GP will be kept in the loop, too. “Many people present to hospital emergency departments because they think it’s the only way to access diagnostics, but we can offer rapid access with reports back to your GP within days,” says David.
Affidea is Ireland’s leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, CT and DEXA scans, operating a network of clinics across Ireland.
Affidea ExpressCare walk-in clinics at Tallaght Cross East in Dublin and The Elysian in Cork also provide athletes – big or small – with an alternative to busy emergency departments when they’re injured.
Open to everyone from 10am to 10pm, 365 days a year, with no appointment needed, ExpressCare aims to see patients within a one to two hour turnaround time. Children aged one year and up can attend.
