A man has died after falling overboard from a fishing boat in Donegal

The alarm was raised at around 3pm.

A MAN WHO fell from a fishing boat off the coast of Donegal this afternoon has died.

He was working on a lobster boat off Horn Head with another man when he fell.

He was located by Mulroy Coast Guard and removed from the water at around 3:15pm.

The man was then taken to Letterkenny General Hospital by the Rescue 118 helicopter.

He was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived at the hospital.
