Man in his 50s dies in road collision in Meath

The incident happened at 12.20pm today.

A MAN IN his 50s has died after being involved in a road traffic collision in Kells, County Meath.

Gardaí are investigating a two car fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the southbound carriageway of the N3 north of Kells at approximately 12.20pm today.

The male driver in his 50’s was seriously injured when his car was in collision with another car.

He was removed to Navan Hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.

No one else was injured.

The road is closed to traffic and Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have been requested to examine the scene.
