Three shops in Blanchardstown in west Dublin have been robbed at knifepoint in recent weeks.

THREE PEOPLE HAVE been arrested over the robbery of shops in Blanchardstown in Dublin after Gardaí stopped a car in west Dublin last night.

Three shops have been robbed at knifepoint in recent weeks leading to a Gardai investigation into who was responsible.

A car was stopped on the Grange Road in Dublin 15 last night as part of a planned operation and the three occupants – a man and a woman in their 20s and a woman in her late 30s – were arrested at the scene.

All three are being held at Blanchardstown Garda station.
