TWO MEN ESCAPED with an undisclosed sum of money after an armed robbery at a Dublin supermarket last night.

Gardaí in Crumlin are investigating after two men – one of them armed with a knife – threatened staff at a Lidl supermarket on the Greenhills Road shortly before 9pm on Tuesday night.

Some reports suggest that one of the men was carrying a firearm; however this could not be confirmed by Gardaí this morning.

The two escaped with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries in the incident.

Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to contact the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
