Absolutely, considering there are no guards in either Rush or Lusk leaving the two towns exposed to criminals. Well done, brilliant job.

If there are no guards, how was this crime foiled within minutes of happening? Clearly the current plan of closing small Garda stations makes no odds.

Brian clearly this was a tip-off. If you really think closing small stations makes no odds, take a look at whats been going on in Donegal recently. The guards have done their job here, and done it well. Lets hope the judiciary do their job and impose the appropriate sentence.

It’s Dublin this occurred in… Try see how long you’d be waiting on Gardai in kilconly or ballymoe where stations have been closed and there is only one car available in the Tuam district

We’re about 15 minutes from our nearest station balbriggan Garda station. We have a population of over 5k, how many people live in Ballymoe? It was a job well done by our Gardai in this instance.

Plus Balbriggan serves Balbriggan itself and the other surrounding areas. A very busy station!! So 15 minutes if you’re lucky! :D

haha delighted, three feckin eeijits, lock them up and give them slaps for the next 10 years, that should sort them, but they’ll be out in 6 months for armed robbery! Shatter YOU REALLY HAVE TO GO. Is it any wonder this man is a solicitor in the Justice dept, course they’re all in it for the money, the more court appearances these eejits get the more moola for Shatters buddies in business.
