Attention lovebirds: RTÉ wants to pay for your wedding

The Today show launched a competition to win a €20,000 wedding reception at a hotel in Meath.

AS VALENTINE’S DAY approaches, there may be engagements coming for some of you and wouldn’t it be just wonderful if someone else paid for it all?

RTÉ are offering to do just that. The Today show launched a competition to win a wedding reception worth €20,000 at the Station House Hotel in Co Meath.

The prize would include a five course meal and wine for 100 people along with a champagne reception, flowers, wedding cars and all the trimmings.

To be in with a chance of winning, couples will have to submit a one minutes creative video to todaywedding@rte.ie explaining why they deserve it. Along with this, they have to include a 500 words or less description of themselves.

The closing date for entries is 27 February and couples have to be available to get married at the end of April and have a valid wedding licence. You must also be prepared to have your wedding filmed for the show.
