Ryanair launches new Shannon route to Alicante

The Shannon to Alicante service has not operated since 2010.

RYANAIR HAS ANNOUNCED the launch of a new Shannon route to Alicante, Spain, from this June.

The airline said that the new Shannon/Alicante route will offer two weekly return flights, on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The service has not operated from Shannon since 2010.

Approximately 40,000 passengers currently fly to Alicante from Dublin and Cork.
