YESTERDAY, CONTROVERSIAL YOUTUBER Sam Pepper released his latest “prank” video and it’s causing controversy around the world.

It’s titled “Killing Best Friend Prank” and it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Pepper brought in Vine stars Sam and Colby to star in the prank – but only one of them was in on the stunt.

The five-minute clip shows Sam – who didn’t know he was being filmed – being “kidnapped” from his car. Colby, who knew what was going on, was also kidnapped and brought to the same location as Sam.

Then Colby was “shot” by a masked man in front of Sam – who at that stage was tied up and seated. A few seconds later, Colby got up and revealed that it was all recorded and not real.

The “prank” has caused outrage amongst nearly everyone who has seen it

It’s now one of the top trending topics on Twitter both in Ireland and around the world

With half a million views on YouTube, there have been nearly 100,000 downvotes from people not happy with it

Almost immediately there were calls for YouTube to remove it, but the BBC reports that they will not be taking it down as it doesn’t break any of the YouTube community guidelines.

The new video has sparked fresh calls for him to be banned altogether from the site

The victim of the stunt Sam posted this message to Twitter

And the three of them have featured in this Vine and on Snapchat telling “their side of the story”
