Satellite Image of Clear Skies over Ireland of the Day

And the warm temperatures are set to continue.

IT’S THE WEEKEND and the sun is shining across Ireland with temperatures reaching into the mid-20s and lots of sunshine to be enjoyed.

The infra red satellite image from Met Éireann above shows just how clear the skies are over Ireland today and the good news is that it will continue to be warm next week.

The forecast indicates that maximum temperatures will vary between 17 and 21 degrees with sunshine variable and some cloud likely.

There will be some local showers and possible thundery downpours but these will be the exception.

The upshot is that the cold weather is gone for the time being. Which is good news. Enjoy your weekend.
