Michael Schumacher's son involved in 100mph crash in Germany

Mick Schumacher was not harmed in the incident.

MICHAEL SCHUMACHER’S SON has been involved in a high speed crash at a track in east Germany.

This took place during a Formula 4 race in eastern Germany and he was not harmed in the incident which took place over the weekend.

According to German newspaper Die Welt, he was believed to have been travelling at 100mph when the crash happened.

Formula 4 

The incident took place at the Lausitzring speedway in Brandenburg, eastern Germany when his car skidded out of control and went into a gravelled area.

He has been competing in Formula 4 since signing to Van Amersfoort Racing earlier this month.

Potential

Schumacher has been racing for the past 7 years and is believed to be a potential future Formula One driver.

He finished second in the world, European and German karting championships last season.

Mick’s father, former Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher, remains in a serious condition following a major skiing injury in December 2013.
