The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy captured the incident on Monday.

RESEARCHERS IN THE US have released video footage of one lucky seal who managed to escape the jaws of a white shark.

The incident was filmed by Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries working with Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.

The video taken shows the shark’s attempted attack on the grey seal off Cape Cod during a white shark research trip on Monday.

Must be his lucky day!
